Advanced: Friday, 26 June 2026, 14:00 – 16:30
The Annual ESPGHAN Meeting offers the opportunity to participate in a dedicated Endoscopy Learning Zone.
This activity provides a hands-on approach to both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic techniques through practical sessions using biological models and advanced simulators.
Training is supervised by experienced endoscopists from high-volume paediatric endoscopy centres and aims to promote direct interaction with participants, illustrating the indications and techniques of paediatric diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Simulation-based learning represents an important opportunity for professional development, allowing not only productive interaction with highly skilled endoscopists but also the chance to gain direct knowledge of dedicated materials and devices.
The ELZ offers courses both for beginners and for those already practising endoscopy, aiming to further deepen and enhance their endoscopic knowledge.
The activity is organized in small groups of trainees, rotating through different themed stations to ensure that all participants have the opportunity to practice and refine their endoscopic skills.
Last year, ESPGHAN introduced a new opportunity for AHPs to participate in the ELZ. In an interactive setting, they will have the chance to interact with highly experienced endoscopists from across Europe and foster connections within the endoscopy network.
In this edition, in addition to the theoretical and practical sessions, short explanatory video clips will also be presented
We warmly invite all those interested in endoscopic practice to register and take advantage of this valuable educational opportunity.
