It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 59th ESPGHAN Annual Meeting, taking place from 2–5 June 2027 in Lisbon, Portugal!

Each ESPGHAN Annual Meeting builds on the achievements of those before it, reflecting the continued growth, evolution, and ambition of our community. Following the highly successful meetings in Helsinki in 2025 and Lille in 2026, ESPGHAN 2027 will once again bring together leading experts, clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals, and the next generation of specialists from across the world.

At the heart of the Meeting will be a scientific programme that continues to evolve alongside our field, addressing the most pressing questions and emerging developments across Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Through cutting-edge research, clinically focused sessions, interactive discussions, and innovative educational formats, the programme will provide a rich environment for exchanging knowledge, challenging established thinking, and translating new evidence into better care.

As ESPGHAN continues to broaden its international reach, the 2027 Meeting will place renewed emphasis on strengthening connections across regions, disciplines, and communities. Lisbon will provide an important platform for building new partnerships, exchanging perspectives, and joining efforts across borders to advance knowledge and improve paediatric healthcare worldwide.
