Hands-on Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Wednesday, 24 June 2026, 8:00-12:00
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming clinical practice, research, education, and even patient communication. This hands-on course is designed for healthcare professionals who want to practically learn how to use AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality in their daily work.
Participants will explore various AI platforms, including ChatGPT (GPT-5), ResearchRabbit, SciSpace, NotebookLM (and others considered most useful at the time of the course).
Through guided exercises, clinicians will learn how to:
• Create effective prompts that generate reliable, high-quality results
• Summarize medical literature, extract key insights, and produce visual research outputs
• Select the right AI tools for specific clinical and research tasks
• Learn basic principles of how to read AI-related articles
• Use AI responsibly in handling patient data, research materials, and academic writing
• Recognize and avoid common AI pitfalls such as hallucinations and inaccurate references
The course includes real-world clinical and research scenarios – for example, formatting a clinic letter, preparing a presentation, or conducting a literature search. Participants will leave with ready-to-use workflows they can apply immediately in their clinics, research projects, or teaching activities.
The Lille edition introduces two tracks: Basic and Advanced (30 delegates each).
The Advanced track is primarily intended for graduates of the Helsinki Basic Course or participants with prior AI experience.
